Kent Justine, fondly called just by his second name, belongs to a family of six. He is the second youngest child in the family. Justines family resides in their simple home with installed latrines facility. The family is grateful because they have access to water and electricity, as well as social services and facilities their community offers. They manage to get by in a month with his father working as a day laborer, securing $200.00 monthly. His mother, however, stays at home to oversee household responsibilities. Despite financial constraints, his parents are dedicated to giving them the best they could offer, like providing them with a good education. Justine is in primary school now, and his favorite subjects are Filipino and English as he is interested in improving both his reading and writing skills and oral communication. After class, he makes sure that before he watches television, he is done with his school homework and helping his mother wash their dishes. Justine is fond of fried chicken, spaghetti, and adobo. His favorite color is blue. Someday, he sees himself as a soldier who will save and serve his country.
