Sharlyne is a charming girl who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. She lives with her grandmother, mother and brother. The family lives in a palm thatched mud house in a communal land. They fetch water from a community hand pump whose water is saline and scarce as it is depended upon by many households. The family depends on casual works, mats and basket weaving activity as the main source of income. However, the annual income derived from their economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to meet family basic needs. For this reason, her mother decided to approach the office seeking for help. Sharlyne is enrolled in school. She likes playing with improvised toys and shakers with her mates. Her mother would like her to become an engineer when she grows up. Sharlyne has not yet been assigned any house chores since he is still young. Your support will bring a lasting change to her life.
