They are subsistence farmers, they grow crops such as maize and vegetables for food consumption, but yields are mainly low due to poor rainfall pattern. Their annual income stands at US$300 which is not enough to meet their daily basic needs as a family. Racheal is in primary school, and she likes learning English as her favorite subject. She helps her parents with household chores such as cleaning the surrounding and washing plates. Her favorite game is playing jumping rope.
