Subhajeet hails from an abjectly deprived family. He is called as Sonu at home.  The father works hard as a causal worker. But with this meagre income is far from sufficient to support the growing children or provide them with even one square meal a day.  His annual income is approximately US dollar 500 per annum. The mother tries to make the most of what is at hand, but there is abounding privation at home with no way out of their miserable plight. Keen on giving this child the chance of a better future through education, the desperate parents finally sought aid from this project. Subhajeet is attending primary school. His favorite subject is Odia, the regional language.  He enjoys playing group games and a ball games with friends.
