Monica is fondly called Momo by her siblings. She has two sisters and two brothers. They live with both parents in a rural area situated in the Eastern part of Lusaka. Their house is rectangular with two rooms made from unbaked bricks with grass thatched roof. Monica with her siblings sleep on reeds mat. The family depend on subsistence farming and mainly grows maize being their staple food crop. Her mother does some casual work and sometimes sells cassava and vegetables at the local market to increase the family income. The small income earned which is not more than $350.00 is not enough to provide the family with basic needs. Monica is learning at a primary school. She likes playing with dolls. Your support will definitely help her to live a better life in future.
