Kirubel was born in Addis Ababa, and he lives with his mother and two sisters in a neighborhood with poor hygiene and sanitation, and access to potable water. His father has deserted them. His mother is a casual worker, and the family lives in a rented poorly built small room and the nearby school and health center lack basic equipment and trained professionals. His mother plans to improve their lives by being engaged in better generating activities if they get some support.  The child is in primary school. Kirubel is a playful  student, and he wants to be an engineer when he grows up. In order to overcome the poverty Kirubel is facing, he needs to get kind attention.

Ending child poverty begins with Kirubel. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
