Thomas is an active and friendly boy. He lives with his parents and two siblings in a small village located in the eastern part of Sierra Leone. His parents depend on small scale farming. They grow rice, cassava, yam and vegetables. His mother does petty trading. The income she generates combined with the income the father gets from selling some of the crops when harvested is not enough to meet the familys basic needs. He attends the community primary school in his community. After school he assist his parents at home.His favorite subject is Science, and best food is rice and cassava leaves sauce. He loves to play soccer with his peers. He also helps his family with minor errands within the community. Sponsorship would help this boy have a good education, succeed in life and get a brighter future.
