Saikou lives with his family in the western part of the country. His father is a traditional local farmer who depends on the little income he earns to keep the family going. His mother is a house wife and also does petty trading to support the family. They live in cement block house. He has two sisters and two brothers. Their combined annual income is approximately US$360.00 which is not adequate to cater for both the family needs and childrens education. Therefore, external sponsorship would greatly help him to realize his objectives attaining a better education and a better life. He is in good health.
