Tayib lives in the western part of the country with his parents and two brothers. His father is a mason and his mother is a petty trader. Their financial status is very low to take care of the basic needs of the family. They eat two scanty meals a day, which are not nutritious for a growing little boy like Tayib. The family lives in a mud blockhouse which is not very comfortable for the child. Tayib is presently attending a lower basic school and he is studying very hard to come out with flying colors. Tayib is interested in learning but lacks most of the educational materials needed. He likes playing football with friends and dislikes being insulted or shouted at.
