Prabhod hails from a very poor family who live in destitute state of poverty and misery. His father works as a laborer in order to maintain the family. His hard work fetches him a very low income of approximately USD 269 per annum, which, living in an urban area, does not suffice to tide over the financial problems. The mother being a housewife, is at her wits end trying to solve the mounting problems, but there is hardly any sign of improvement in their living conditions. Finally in utter desperation, they sought aid from this project in order to provide a better future for this child. Prabhod is attending school. He is active. His favorite subjects are Science and English. He enjoys playing with the friends.  His health is average. Prabhod has two sisters.
