Kenia grows up in the high and cold city of La Paz, the seat of government of Bolivia. She is a shy, joyful and playful girl who enjoys making crafts. She spends her days filled with curiosity and wonder, running around the house and touching everything in sight. She attends a local school. Her favorite subject is shop class. She dreams of becoming a doctor one day. This healthy girl lives with her parents and 2 siblings in a rudimentary small dwelling made of brick walls, cement floor and metal roof. While they have electricity, they lack proper sanitation services. Her father works as a driver, while her mother washes clothes. The family income is around US $ 434.00 per month, which does not cover the basics and reaching the end of the month is a constant struggle. Like many children in this country, she needs your love and support to have access to better living conditions to grow up as a healthy and productive adult.
