Sunkarie, is a beautiful and intelligent girl who lives with her parents in a four bedroom mud bricks adobe house with unpaved floors and no toilet facilities. Her father is a voluntary community school teacher and the mother is a backyard vegetable gardener where she struggles to upkeep the children. The family survives on less than two dollars a day which is not enough to purchase their other basic needs. She is a cheerful and hardworking little girl who is attending in one of the Primary schools in the community but lack most of the materials needed for quality education. She sleeps on a straw mat on the floor. She is a promising child and likes to be in the company of friends while studying at night using a solar light. With sponsorship, Sunkarie will live a better life and have a brighter future.
