Mariama is a beautiful girl who lives with her parents, two brothers and a sister in a two bedroom mud brick house in her village, koinadugu district, the northern part of Sierra Leone. She sleeps on a locally made wooden bed with grass mattress with her sibbling. Her father is a small scale farmer and the mother sells some of the product they produce. Their combined annual income could be estimated at US$ 270.00 which is too small to meet their family needs. Her health is normal and lives happily with her peers and loves to sing and dance to traditional songs. Her favourite time of the year is harvest Period because there is plenty to eat. With sponsorship her live will improve for a better future.
