Getrude  is a young charming girl who comes from Turkana County in the northern part of Kenya. She lives with her parents, one brother and one sister. They lives in a palm-thatched house with mad smeared. The family water from unprotected shallow well, that’s not safe for the family use, thus will expose the child and the family for contacting water borne diseases. Both parents are the breadwinners of the family, father does small farming activity and the mother is doing too weaving of Matts which is not enough for the family needs. The annual income realised in this activity is less than US£ 360, that’s not enough for the continuity of the family. The father approached the project for assistance. Getrude school in Pre-primary in her village and she likes playing and drawing domestic livestock and structures like houses, trees. Getrude is still young to help in the household chores. Getrude and the family will appreciate for sponsorship since it will take them to the next level.
