Daouda lives with his parents and siblings in a village located in the central part of the country. His father is a traditional farmer whereas his mother is a housewife without any revenue. They live in a large family house which they share with other close relatives. The annual income of US $ 700.00 which the father manages to bring home every year can only solve the most pressing needs of the family. Daouda is in kindergarten where he is doing well. After school, he enjoys playing soccer, marbles, hide-and-seek, and other games with his friends. At home, he is helpful with small errands which he runs with so much pride.
