Yandi is a beautiful and brilliant girl who lives in a farming community in the north of Sierra Leone. Her village is hard to reach and lack safe drinking water. She lives with her parents, two brothers and two sisters. They dwell in an old mud stick house of two rooms that is roofed with old zinc which has some leakages especially during the rains. She sometimes suffers from common cold as a result of the leakages from the roof. Yandi sleep with her parents on a local bed with poor beddings. Her parents depend on farming earning very little income. Their annual income is not enough to take care of the home. Yandi is healthy and doing well in school. She is very good at athletic. With sponsorship Yandi can educate and become a professional athlete.
