Zydan is the only child to his parents. He is living with both parents and other family members in a small farming village in eastern Sierra Leone. He is attending the community primary school. After school, he together with with elder cousins goin their parents in the farm to help them with the farm work. He stays healthy most of the time. The family dwells in a three room mud bricks house with old zinc as roof top. There is no access to electricity or pipe borne water in their community. His parents are small scale farmers who grow different crops seasonally to feed the family and as well sell some to take care of other basic needs. The family survives on a single meal a day as their annual income is estimated at US$ 250. With the support of a potential sponsor, Zydan will have the opportunity to be educated and confident who will grow, develop and discover his full potentials.
