Simon is calm young boy who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. He lives with his mother and father. He also has one brother and two sisters. They live in a palm thatched mud hut smeared with mud in a communal land. They fetch water from a community seasonal bore hole whose water is not enough. His mother is the primary care giver of the family. They depend on charcoal and firewood selling activity. They also practice small scale farming as an income supplementation project. However, the annual income derived from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support family basic needs. His mother decided to approach the office seeking for further assistance. Simon is enrolled in a nearby school where he enjoys numbers and counting activity. While at home, he likes playing football and jumping rope with his friends. Additionally, Simon helps his parents in fetching water and washing utensils. He would like to become an engineer in future. Your support will bring a lasting change to his life and the family.
