Nehemiah is a little boy who lives with his parents and three brothers in the eastern part of Sierra Leone. His family lives in a three bed room house built with mud bricks and roofed with old zinc. He sleeps in a local bed with his three brothers in the same room. Their community lacks modern facilities like pipe borne water and electricity. They use battery lamps for light and get water from a hand pump well for domestic use. His parents depend mainly on small scale farming as their main source of income. Their income can only meet certain basic needs of the family. He is always glued to his mother. He is not attending school because of his age. Nehemiah enjoys playing with locally made dolls. He is healthy and doing well. He is very active at home. Sponsorship will help improve on the living conditions of Nehemiah, family and the community.
