Jorum is an active, talkative boy who was born in the periphery of the city. He stays with his mother, grandmother, and other four brothers. He goes to a remote school and his favourite subject is Mathematics. He is very supportive to both his mother and grandmother when it comes to housework with mopping, washing utensils, sweeping, and fetching water. Jorum dreams of becoming a Lawyer. His family entirely depends on his mother who sells clothes for sustainable livelihood. The family stays in a double rented congested house given the big number hence sharing of beddings that may lead to spread of diseases. The grandmother is not earning so its the mother to meet the basic needs of life with US Dollars 10 per week including the educating all the siblings. However, this comes with a lot of hardships since the business does not attract a lot of profits given the small number of customers and competition from other people. This is likely to hinder his dream of becoming a lawyer. It is against this background that any sponsorship to this child will help to stimulate their wellbeing.
