Rassel is a kind and jolly girl living in Northern Uganda. She lives with both of her grandmother in a grass thatched house with walls made of wood and the floor made of packed dirt smeared with cow dung to smoothen. Her grandmother being physically weak is not able to provide for the family. They depend on subsistence farming for a living, yet what they produce is not enough to cater for their basic needs. Their monthly earnings through farming is approximately 20 US dollars, this is not enough to cater for their household expenses given that medical bills are high for the family to afford. Rassel goes to school and dreams of living a much comfortable life. She likes playing ball games with her peers. Access to clean water is a challenge in her family, they fetch water from a well shared with animals. Your sponsorship will enable Rassel and household be economically empowered.
