Marie is a quiet and lovely girl. She lives with her parents and siblings in one of the villages of the remote countryside. Her father is a traditional farmer. As for her mother, she is a mere housewife without any revenue. They live in a large family house which they share with other close relatives. The annual income US $ 600.00 which the family earns at the end of the rainy season is not sufficient to solve the family’s most pressing needs. Marie goes to the village elementary school where she is doing well. At home, she enjoys having fun with her dolls and playing different games with the other kids of the neighborhood. She also helps with small errands and the light house chores. Sponsorship would help this girl have a good education and succeed in life.
