Meba is a boy from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He lives with his father who works as a local broker in the community and his mother who is responsible to take care of the family. Meba has a brother. The family’s income is meager from casual work. The whole family lives in a small old house. Meba is in primary school. He loves English. They plan to engage in income generating activities of their own if they got the required support. Due to their low annual income, the family has a hard time fulfilling the child’s basic needs like clothing, medication and education. The whole community suffers from the lack of health centers, poor housing facilities, clean water and schools.
