Lewis with his family live in Chimusanya community, this is one of the rural farming areas of Zambia. Lewis lives with his sister, brother, mother and father. His Mother and father are small scale farmers who mainly grow maize as their staple food crop, however yields are most of the times low because of infertile soils and poor farming practices as a result the father has resorted to selling firewood to help him raise money for buying of other necessities of life. For this reason they decided to have Lewis enrolled for sponsorship. Their annual income stands at about US$ 300. Lewis is not yet enrolled in school  which is very unfortunate, he however enjoys playing with dolls and toys. Your support to Lewis will certainly improve their living standard.
