Suzen is taken care of by her parents, they live in Chimusanya a rural farming community in Rufunsa District of Zambia. Her parents are subsistence farmers who mainly grow maize, groundnuts and cassava. Yields in maize are always low due to infertile soils as a result the father resorted to start a part time job at the nearest farms to raise money for buying of other daily necessities of life. Their annual income is about US$400. They live in a grass thatched house. They use candles as a source of lighting and draws water from the borehole located near their home. Suzen is in primary school, she however enjoys playing jumping rope game with her friends. Your support to Suzen will certainly bring joy to her and the family as a whole.
