Yuzina is a smart and amusing girl who lives with her parents, grandmother and uncles in a small community located in the southeastern part of Mozambique. They live in a self-built house with stone walls, a thatched roof and dirt floor. The house is in precarious conditions. And it is far from hospital. They sometimes prefer to stay home because of the distance. Yuzina is very kind and respectful. On her spare time, she enjoys jumping rope. She attends primary school and her favorite subject is Portuguese. In future, she would like to be a teacher. She enjoys helping her family with the chores around the house. Her parents are subsistence farmers. For living they depend on odd jobs and family agriculture. They grow some crops. They grow cassavas, groundnuts, maize and vegetables. It is a pity that now they are facing droughts. There is no rain. Therefore, there is no food. Yuzina participates in the program where he will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation.
