Hopeson is a cheerful and energetic young boy living with his mother and his brother. He lives elsewhere. He is in school, and enjoys his lessons, his favourite subject is English, and he excels in English and mathematics. Despite the difficulties, Hopesons mother works hard to provide for the family, relying on small business of tomato selling  to earn a monthly income of less than $32 which is not enough to meet their daily needs.  Hopeson loves playing ball games, singing and playing with toys. He also likes helping his mother with household chores such as cleaning dishes and fetching water. His ambition is to become a soldier one day, protecting his people.
