Noemí is one of three siblings living with her mother and father. They are a humble and needy family. The father works hard as a janitor and the mother is a homemaker. The familys daily  income is approximtely less than  U.S. $7. Their dwelling consists of three rooms, one kitchen and a bathroom. It is made of bricks with a cement floor. It has no drainage. Their furniture consists of three beds, one table, a wardrobe and four chairs. They do not have the essential household appliances. The daily diet is based on eggs, tortillas, beans, and rice. They seldom eat meat or chicken. Noemi is attending an upper grade of elementary school. She is now in good health, her weight is 32 kgs and her height is 1.43 m. She enjoys when their town fair takes place, because she likes riding the roller coasters and the different games. She likes to play ball games and with her pet Lobo.
