Deepanshi hails from a family who belongs to an economically backward community and living in a house made of mud and thatch. Her father is a casual worker with low land holdings and her mother is a housewife. The annual income of the family is about 328 US dollars which is not enough to fulfill the basic needs of the children as nutritious food, clothing, health, and education. Hence they approached the local partner for help. Deepanshi is attending primary school. Her favorite subject is Hindi, the national language. She enjoys playing group games with her little friends. Her health condition is good. She has two sisters.
