Fatoumata commonly called Famo is a caring, calm and friendly pretty girl. She lives with both parents in the rural Gambia. Her father depend on rain fed agricultural produce to make a living while her mother supplement to the familys feeding through her petty trading at the village local market. Their annual income combined is not sufficient to cater for all the familys basic needs year round. Fatoumata is now attending Primary school. Her progress is facing some challenges due to poor economic back ground. She enjoys locally cooked foods. ChildFund sponsorship program will help change her livelihoods in future.
