Miro is a good boy who lives in slum area located in the capital city of Mozambique. He lives with his mother and siblings. The family lacks money to afford food and mosquito nets as now there are many mosquitoes that cause malaria. Miro and his family live in an old house with rusty corrugated iron sheets and old walls. Miro attends school and his favorite subject is Math. In future, he intends to be a teacher. He enjoys playing soccer and playing with tires. His mother does some business for income generation, but their income is very low. The family annual income is about $260. Miro participates in the program where he will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation. His family will benefit from the training skills and home improvement programs. A kind sponsorship and love will be a great blessing for this child in having a nice childhood. And helping this child would spare his life from the unbearable repercussions of poverty.
