Priscila lives with her mother and siblings near a busy highway in Eastern Uganda. On this road speeding motorcycles run throughout the day to ferry goods yet the family has to cross to swamp across where they fetch water for domestic use. Both the road is not safe for children especially the little Priscila who moves with her siblings in pursuit of helping their mother. This situation puts the life of the young ones at risk as the bushy swamp can easily harbor wrong doers who can cause harm to the children. Since Priscila lost her father in 2021, her mother has no one else to support her except for her children whom she shares most of the chores with. She is a full time garden single mother who struggles to put food on table for her children but sometimes this is not possible as the only source of food is their seasonal harvest. This has got an implication on this family in that if the season does not yield well, the food produced is not enough to push them till the next season hence famine and malnutrition. Priscila is one person who requires help through your sponsorship.
